Eligibility for Membership

Becoming a Practitioner Member of the ACSM provides a range of benefits, including access to valuable security document templates and other resources, a group discussion board, education programs and cost savings on other activities and resources.
Eligibility to join is based on a genuine and continuing association with the security profession. Successful applicants must be currently engaged in a security role involving application of one or more of the following knowledge and competency areas:

Security Management
Physical Security
Information Security
Personnel Security
Criminology
ICT Security
Business Continuity
Security Intelligence
Security Investigations

Security Auditing
Fire and Life Safety
Security Law
Security Risk
Security Consulting
Another relevant practice area, which will be assessed on a case by case basis

Membership Types and Fees

The following types of membership are available:

Trial Member: A free, 30 day trial with limited access to resource areas, but sufficient to demonstrate the content of the site. Membership Fee $Nil.
Recruiter Member: A free member category that permits access to a page where jobs can be posted for members. Membership Fee $Nil.
Practitioner Member: A standard member category permitting access to all areas of the site and permitting download of all resources and access to all areas.
- Membership Fee (Australia): $330.00
- Membership Fee (International): Aust $250
Corporate Member:
- Up to six Practitioner Members: $1,320.00
- 7-12 Practitioner Members: $2,200.00
- 12 or more Practitioner Members: $3,300.00
Supplier Member:
- Small to Medium Enterprise (SME): $330.00.
- Major company: $550.00
